Production

Local production

We are so proud to say that our production is entirely in-house. By in-house, we mean that the complete process, from the first design and pattern development to sampling, fittings, and the construction of the final garment, takes place in our own atelier.

This allows us to keep every step close. There are no long production chains, no overproduction, and no distance between the original design and the finished piece. Most importantly, this allows us to be completely transparent about how our garments are made.

Production

Craftsmanship behind every piece

I’m Yasmin, co-founder of Growvy and a fashion tailor who has been working as a professional tailor, designer, and pattern maker for more than a decade.

For me, tailoring is more than a profession. It is a craft that deserves to be preserved, practiced, and passed on. My background in couture and bespoke tailoring allows me to approach our clothing with techniques and attention to detail that are rarely found in the industry today.

I see how a fabric behaves. I understand how complex designs are constructed. I know where reinforcement is needed, where a finish can be improved, and which traditional techniques can give a garment greater strength, comfort, and longevity.

Production

From design to final stitch

Every piece begins with an idea. We design with purpose, considering not only how a garment looks, but also how it will be worn and how it will last.

The design is then translated into a pattern. By drawing our own patterns and developing our own sizing range, we have made adjusting or creating new designs more efficient and limitless, rather than adapting our vision to the limitations of an external production company.

Before a garment becomes a final product, it is made, tested, and refined. We examine the fit, proportions, construction and finishing, making adjustments directly and immediately.

Once everything is right, the final garment is constructed in our own atelier. Every seam, stitch, and detail passes through the same trained eye that developed the garment from the beginning.

Production

Towards more transparency

Keeping our production in-house allows us to stay close to every step of the process, from the materials we choose to the quality and quantity of every garment. It gives us the freedom to make thoughtful decisions and ensure every piece is made with care.

But this is just the beginning.

We hope to contribute to a more conscious and transparent way of producing clothing. A future where craftsmanship is valued, production is kept close, and the journey from the first idea to the finished garment can be understood and trusted.

Thank you for looking beyond the garment.
